What is Quotey?

Quotey, LLC is an on-line insurance company. We make dozens of insurance companies compete for your business so that you get the absolute best deal possible. 

How are you different than my local insurance agencies?

We are not affiliated with any insurance companies. We take your specific information and send it out to all of the big insurance companies so that they compete for your business.  Being on-line based, we have very little overhead and we can keep costs extremely low. We do not charge ANY policy fees or add any other costs to you whatsoever. You get the absolute lowest cost coverage available, everytime. In summary, we do all the work for you and you get the cheapest insurance coverage possible.

How are you different than other on-line insurance companies?

We are based right here in North Carolina and focus on North and South Carolina residents. Most on-line insurance companies are based in New York, Silicon Valley, or even over-seas. Most of the time, their leaders are tech execs with no real insurance experience. Our Founder was born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina and has lived in North Carolina all of his life. He has been an insurance professional for over 20 years. Our team has decades of experience in insurance and financial services. 

What is the process?

Once you provide some basic information on our website, you will see quotes almost immediately. If you see a price that is attractive to you, call us or initiate an online chat so that we can secure your coverage. We will handle all the paperwork and cancel your old policy if necessary. Yes, it really is that easy!

How many quotes will I receive?

It depends. We work with dozens of the best insurance companies but not all of them will quote each policy. Auto quotes usually receive the most quotes, followed by Homeowners, and then Business. Even within auto quotes, there are differences. For example, a 40 year old with no driving infractions might receive dozens of quotes, while a 25 year old with several speeding tickets will receive less. Any specialty markets (classic cars, certain boats, etc) will receive less because there are less insurance companies willing to insure those risks. We will make sure that you get the most quotes possible for your specific situation.

Life Insurance and Annuity Quotes vary based on the amount requested, age, and health of the insured. Usually, we will get anywhere from 3-12 quotes back. We will share each with you and help you pick the best policy for your family.
